JOBS FOR 18 YEAR OLDS

The holiday season is coming up fast and stores will have job openings for the Christmas season that need to be filled. This year, Christmas may not be as big a retail year for stores but many of them will need part time and weekend help.

If you are going to be wanting retail jobs for 18 year olds or Christmas jobs this year, NOW is the time to start looking. Based on the scarcity of all jobs (and especially jobs for teens) this summer, you need to get out and start looking right away before they fill up.

Retail jobs for teenagers is a great way to earn money over the winter and Christmas holidays because so many stores need part time help. Older teenagers like you are probably looking for jobs that are part time after school or on the weekends and retail jobs are perfect for that.

If you are 18 years old you might also be interested in a full time job either right now or very soon. If you can get hired this winter part time and you do a great job, it may turn into a full time job later on. This holiday season is a great time to get that retail job and then prove through your hard work that you are a valuable addition to the company. It is almost like an interview where you actually get to show your boss how great you are! It is on the job training and a job interview all in one.

Work has been so difficult to find that many of you are discouraged but these next two and a half months are guaranteed to bring more job openings. Get started early and go around passing out your resume or asking the retail stores if they are going to be hiring for the Christmas season.
