An article from the Washington Post says that more than 500,000 people will be hired this Christmas / holiday season so now is the time to get out there and get hired! While most of these jobs will be part time only lasting into January, it is refreshing news to see that retailers are actually hiring.

This is just about the only time of the year that you can count on retail outlets, restaurants, and customer service companies having jobs available and actually looking for employees. They need workers and they need them right away as the malls fill up and the people do more eating out.

The holiday shopping season is a HUGE part of any retailers business and they need to make sure they can keep up with whatever demand is out there.

Besides going around and asking for jobs at the places you want to work, you should be looking online as well.
